Silicone Cosmetic Finger and Hand Prostheses:

Amputations of hands and fingers usually occur as a result of traumatic injuries (work accidents, fiery injuries, etc.) and less commonly, congenital.

Silicone prostheses are attached to the patient’s stump with negative pressure. In cases where the length of the stump is insufficient, the length of the stump is lengthened using implants. As another alternative, it is used as a solution in adhesive dentures and ring dentures.

Silicone Cosmetic Foot Prosthesis:

Partial foot amputations may be the result of disease in the forefoot (such as diabetes and other related vascular/circulatory conditions), trauma, infection, tumors (cancer), or congenital abnormalities.

With partial foot amputation, the patient can still stand and walk short distances. Since the foot does not have an anatomical length, walking is not very healthy.

Measurement: First of all, measurements are taken from the healthy side of the patient to capture the details. After the measurement is approved by the patient, it is scanned with a 3D scanner. In the design program, harmony with the stump is achieved and the symmetry of the model is taken.

Color Work: One-on-one color work is done with our team. All colors are subject to patient approval. Compliance is achieved between 75% and 80%.

Temporary Prosthesis: In this application performed in our center, preliminary study of the prosthesis that our patient will use is carried out. Compatibility with the stump prosthesis is ensured.

Delivery: The prepared prosthesis is applied to the patient by our team upon the patient’s arrival at our center. The body’s reactions are observed throughout the day. At the end of the day, the patient is given detailed information about the use of the prosthesis.
