SAFO Silicone Ankle Orthosis

It is an orthosis that helps the foot dorsi flexion movement from the upper part of the leg. It is preferred by people with droopy feet as it provides a more comfortable and supported walk, is more aesthetically pleasing due to its skin color, and can be used alone at home.

SAFO® was awarded for innovations to Queens in 2004.

These Orthotics can be used for both adults and children. After the initial evaluation, detailed metric and plaster measurements are taken from the person. Then, the plastic model is removed for testing purposes and the person inspects it. Then the silicone afo process begins.

Safo production is done within our company and it is not imported in any way. Problems that may occur during use are observed and necessary corrections are made in the workshop environment.

Situations in which it is used;

• Charcot Marie Tooth patients

• Foot drop due to stroke or brain trauma

• Ankle control in children with Cerebral Palsy

• Foot drop in neuropathy and polyneuropathy patients
